Opening Ceremony Summer 2022
Welcome to Covenant Harbor!
We are so excited that your camper will be joining us this week at Covenant Harbor!
Since we will not be holding an in-person opening ceremony to officially kick off the week of camp, we hope that this webpage will serve as a tool to give you all the necessary information you might be looking for. Take a look through your specific program tab below. Additionally, make sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram posts to learn more about our team.
Our summer theme is ANCHORED!
Psalm 90:1-2, “Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” Throughout the Bible, we see countless examples of God as a refuge and safe haven. He invites us to draw near and dwell with Him. Because of His uncompromising desire to draw us near to him, Jesus became the way for us to have a personal relationship with God. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can courageously show others the way to the feet of Jesus. This summer, our theme is ANCHORED. This powerful word reminds us that Jesus is steadfast and will help us weather any storm. God loves and invites all people into relationship with Him, so we can be secure in loving others and sharing His word. We’re looking forward to digging into this theme together by exploring some stories of people who entered into deep relationships with God in the Bible, discovering more about the character of God through Scripture, and learning more about what it means to have an anchored faith in Christ!
