Maple Fest: An Outdoor Market Experience
Maple Fest has historically been our annual open house fundraising event where we offer an all-you-care-to-eat pancake breakfast, maple tours and a variety of indoor and outdoor family friendly activities at camp. All proceeds benefit scholarships for local children who attend our summer Day Camp program. Unfortunately, in 2020, we were unable to welcome guests onsite to enjoy Maple Fest in person and shifted our event to become completely virtual.
This year, we are excited to bring you one of our favorite events in a brand new way! You are invited to join us for Maple Fest on Sunday, April 18, for an outdoor market experience. It will look different than Maple Fest has, but we’re confident you’ll still love it.
Check out the details for this family event!
Ways to Participate
Maple Fest: More than just pancakes this year!
This year, Maple Fest will not include our typical pancake buffet breakfast. This event will be held in person as an outdoor market on our front lawn. All vendors will be distanced and prepared individually. You will be able to park and walk around the breakfast market. Masks will be required for everyone participating and social distancing will be encouraged by everyone. With that in mind, the whole individual Maple Fest experience will be only 15-20 minutes. Our hope is that you will be able to gather a complete breakfast for your family, say hello again to Covenant Harbor, and head home to prepare and enjoy your goodies!
If you are not able to join us in person to purchase your own breakfast items at our market, there many other ways for you to participate in Maple Fest and help us raise those important camp scholarship dollars!
- Pre-order your breakfast kits: If you would like a quick option to get the classic Maple Fest breakfast items without having to get out of your car on April 18, you can purchase a set breakfast kit ahead of time to be prepared at home. Each breakfast includes Covenant Harbor’s Oatmeal Pancake Mix, uncooked Maple Cookie Dough, one pound of Klements Sausage, one pound of ground coffee from Boxed and Burlap, and one pound of frozen tater tots. Each kit comes packaged in your very own Covenant Harbor tote bag! Kits are available on our store for purchase and are to be picked up on April 18 anytime between 9am-2pm.
- Order from Next Door Pub and Pizzeria on April 14: Next Door Pub has graciously partnered with Covenant Harbor to help us raise money for our Scholarship Fund. Order from them on April 14, mention Covenant Harbor and that’s it! You get a delicious meal from a Lake Geneva favorite and you area also contributing to our Scholarship Fund!
- Shop at Clear Water Outdoor on April 15: One of our favorite stores in downtown Lake Geneva, Clear Water Outdoor is contributing 20% of their profits on April 15 to our Scholarship Fund! Make sure to stop by and shop on Thursday to get your spring gear and help raise money for Covenant Harbor.
- Order from Oakfire Pizza on April 18: On the day of Maple Fest, you can shop at our market to get everything you need for breakfast (or brunch), and then make sure to stop by Oakfire in Lake Geneva to grab pizza for dinner! On April 18, order from Oakfire and mention Covenant Harbor to have a portion of the days sales go to our Scholarship Fund.
As always, Maple Fest is a fundraiser to raise money for our scholarship fund. You can make a donation at anytime to support that fund here.

Maple Fest has always been a fundraiser where all proceeds benefit scholarships for local children who attend our summer Day Camp program. This year is no different! We invite you to make an online gift of any amount throughout the day to support Day Camp Scholarships. Every dollar counts!
This event would not be possible without the support of our great sponsors who provided generous donations and resources. We are currently looking for more sponsorship partner opportunities. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact our Marketing Coordinator, Emma Mueller, for more details.
A huge thank you to our 2021 sponsors who have helped make our event possible and contributed to our scholarship fund to help families attend summer Day Camp.
