It’s true. Maple Fest (March 22) is widely known for its delicious, one-of-a-kind, all-you-care-to-eat oatmeal pancake breakfast. Individuals, families, alumni staff and friends of Covenant Harbor from the greater Lake Geneva, Milwaukee, Madison, Rockford and Chicago areas make their way back to camp every March for this annual spring event. For Covenant Harbor, Maple Fest is much more than just pancakes.

Maple Fest is for everyone and anyone. We invite you to change up your typical Sunday rhythms and come join us on what we hope will be a cool, sunny early spring morning and eat pancakes, explore our grounds, experience family friendly activities, and get to know a bit of who we are and what we do at camp.

We believe that a summer camp experience is important in a young person’s life and want to make sure that program fees do not prevent a child from being a camper. Every year, our generous Covenant Harbor community raises thousands of dollars for camper scholarships to offset the cost of camp for families. All proceeds from our annual Maple Fest event go toward funding summer Day Camp scholarships for kids. When you stop by for breakfast, purchase raffle tickets for chances to win prizes, jump in our bounce castle, get your face painted or volunteer at the event, you make future Day Camp experiences possible for kids and support our mission of loving kids and sharing Jesus. 

No matter who you are or where you come from, there is something for you, and your family and friends, at Maple Fest. 

Our pancake breakfast begins at 7:30am and pancake flipping does not end until 2:30pm. Activity areas open at 9:00am and close at 3:00pm. You will be sure to find sweet treats, raffle prizes, and hopefully sunshine. 

Spend the day outdoors playing games on our front lawn, swinging through the air on our Giant Swing, walking up and down our big hill or challenging another to a game of Carpetball. Warm up around a campfire while roasting s’mores, get crafty with Home Depot, jump in the bounce castle, or climb the indoor wall. Attend our Summer Camp kick off and enter our grand prize raffle for a chance to win a free week of camp.

Some of our favorite local vendors like Sweet Delight Kettle Corn, Omnium Coffee, Man in the Woods Face Painting, and Sugar Spun Cotton Candy can be found at camp for the day. Friends from Egg Harbor, The Next Door Pub, Lake Geneva Canopy Tours, Geneva Lakes YMCA, to name a few, have all donated gifts to our raffle. Our grand prize raffle includes an opportunity to win a FREE week of summer camp! Come to meet your neighbors and win a prize for the community. 

We hope that you will join us on March 22 for delicious pancakes and fun. It is a great day to bring family, friends, neighbors, school friends, teachers, dog walkers, or even your favorite barista, to introduce the people you love to the place you love.
