Adventure looks different for every group. The Snake Road Adventure Center offers a wide range of activities that can be combined to match your group’s age, abilities, goals and desired level of challenge.
Outdoor Education
Adventure can also be a classroom. Orienteering, outdoor cooking, basic survival, mammal studies and other hands-on experiences help students explore the natural world through active learning.
Team-Building Challenges
Groups work together through intentionally facilitated challenges designed to strengthen communication, leadership, trust, collaboration and problem-solving.
High Ropes Course
Step outside your comfort zone high above the ground. Participants navigate elevated elements while developing confidence, perseverance and trust.
Climbing Tower and Zipline
Challenge yourself on our 50-foot outdoor climbing tower. Multiple routes give participants opportunities to set goals, build confidence and encourage one another along the way. After a climber reaches the top of the tower they can take a leap and experience our 300-foot zipline. It’s an exciting individual challenge and often an unforgettable moment of encouragement for the entire group.
Indoor Climbing
Adventure doesn’t have to stop when the weather changes. Our indoor climbing wall provides opportunities for climbing, encouragement and personal challenge throughout the year.
Giant Swing
Part thrill ride, part personal challenge. Participants choose how high they want to go before experiencing the rush of the swing while their group encourages them from below.
Archery
Learn the fundamentals of archery in a structured environment. Participants practice focus, patience and technique while developing a new outdoor skill.
Canoeing & Waterfront Activities
Experience Geneva Lake from the water while learning paddling skills, working together and exploring one of Covenant Harbor’s greatest natural resources.
