“Why Day Camp?” It’s a question that families both in Lake Geneva, WI and the surrounding Southern Wisconsin and Chicagoland area ask us. Below is an answer from a past camper family as to why they chose to send their child to Covenant Harbor’s day camp.

Why did you choose to send your child to Covenant Harbor?

“I chose to send my child to Covenant Harbor this summer because we were new to the Lake Geneva area. I thought it would be a great way for him to meet some local kids. While there were not many local kids there he had a fabulous experience!”

What are some highlights/stories from your experience as a camper parent or your child’s experience as a camper you would like to share?

“For me, as a parent, it was awesome knowing that he was in a safe place, having a great time and learning more about God. Tyler said, “I loved going to Covenant Harbor because I got to know more about God and how special He is.” He also loved hanging out with the counselors and staff.”

Why do you want to continue sending your child to our day camps at Covenant Harbor?

“Sending Tyler back to Covenant Harbor is a no-brainer for me. It is another place where he can be impacted in a positive fashion, as he continues to mature as a young man and in his faith. It brings me great joy to know that he is rubbing shoulders with caring adults who love Jesus and know how to have a blast with kids.”
