We’re excited to announce our Summer Camp theme 2015 today! After much prayer and thought we have chose the theme “Life Mysterious!”

The Summer Camp theme 2015 is based on the verse 1 Corinthians 2:7 (The Message): “God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don’t find it lying around on the surface. It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest–what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene.”

Our Youth Ministry team shares why this verse and theme was chosen. “It’s easy to think of Christianity as a simple label, or a choice you make once and then everything is perfect. But it’s not that simple; the truth is much more beautiful. Following Christ is a mystery, something that takes a lifetime of searching. Seeking Him, you find each discovery leads to more mystery. But the act of searching makes you, bit by bit, into the person you were made to be all along. The life of a follower of Christ isn’t easily explained, and it isn’t simple. It’s Life Mysterious.”

We look forward to sharing the Summer Camp theme 2015 with all our campers! If you haven’t registered your teen or child for Summer Camp 2015 yet, there is still space available and we would love the opportunity to serve them!
