Family camp brings the best of Covenant Harbor’s summer program and quality staff to your entire family.  Stay in the Geneva Bay Centre conference facility or in any of our cabins.  There is so much to do – relax at the waterfront, try mountain boarding or have a night on the town while we take the kids.  Enjoy our speaker, worship songs, great food, plenty of free time and lots of staff interaction for kids and adults.

Families with kids with special needs have a place at Covenant Harbor. From worship to waterfront, campfires and crafts, THRIVE families will enjoy the family camp experience at their own pace. We’ll take care of the details so you can rediscover yourself and your family in an environment designed for you to THRIVE.  Check the THRIVE box on the registration form and include a special needs registration form for the applicable camper.

Purpose

The purpose of our family camp program is to give families the space and time together that is so hard to find elsewhere.  We want families to grow in the relationships with each other while growing closer to God as individuals and as a family.  Our schedule allows plenty of room for family customization, while carving out space for kids only, adults only and whole-family bonding time.

Tours

There is only so much you can grasp from pictures and our website.  A tour is a great way to see camp for yourself while you hear from our staff details of what camp is like.  Call us today at 262-248-3600 and we would be more than happy to setup a tour for you!

All-Inclusive

The prices for family camp include 5 nights lodging, 15 meals, programming, access to all of Covenant Harbor’s activities (see below), worship and a Biblical based teaching, a personal family buddy for each family and more.  The only additional expenses onsite are the camp store (snacks and souvenirs) and multiple water sports or Snake Road activities.  Each family camper receives one token for a water sports activity (tubing, banana boating or early morning water skiing  and one token for a adventure activity (Climbing Tower, High Ropes, Indoor Climbing Wall or Double Giant Swing).  When space is available, additional tokens can be purchased onsite for $3-$5 per person.

Adult Service - Adults getaway and focus on their own relationships with God.  Worship, encouragement, coffee and Bible teaching included.  The 1 hour teaching time is followed by 1 hour of adult free time.

Kids Team Activities - Campers are separated by age group and assigned a specific counselor for the morning.  The counselor is responsible for supervision, leadership and care of your children during this time.  Babysitting is provided for kids 3 and under.

Kids Real Faith - Our goals of this “Bible teaching” is to introduce campers to the person of Jesus Christ.  Each session is creative and age appropriate, and campers are never forced or coerced to make any decisions.  These times are made very interactive with skits, singing, messy games and creative teaching methods.

Free Time - Several activities are open every day for free time   Some require sign up, which can be done onsite or in advance after registration.

Evening Activities - These activities are a highlight for most family campers and vary from year to year.  Our desire is to have fun and create lasting memories.

Activities

Family campers have ample opportunity to experience all of Covenant Harbor’s great activities.  The price for family camp includes one water sports activity (tubing, banana boating or early morning water skiing  and one adventure activity (Climbing Tower, High Ropes, Indoor Climbing Wall or Double Giant Swing).  When space is available, additional activities can be purchased for $3-$5 per person.

Family Buddy

Each family is assigned one Covenant Harbor staff member as a “family buddy” during the week.  The purpose of a family buddy is to help maximize your family’s experience.  While family buddies do have other responsibilities during the week, they are also available to assist with child care, bond with your family and help your family get what you need from family camp.
